ANDY HARDWICK
At the age of 16 Andy joined the Royal Navy where he started as a radio operator, retraining at 21 to become a clearance diver after passing a physically demanding 6-month training period in which 9 began and only 3 completed. Serving in various fleet diving units, Andy delivered worldwide operational support and bomb disposal. In 1993 Andy received the General Service Medal whilst fighting in the Gulf War in Kuwait, clearing the northern persion gulf that had been laid with mines.
